The Recovery Day service is a daily drop-in facility offering anyone who is struggling with drug or alcohol addiction the experience of a recovery-focused environment.
You can talk to other people seeking change in their lives, spend time with a support worker and begin to understand more about yourself and your addiction.

Being chemically dependant can often be very isolating and you may not have anyone to turn to or have anywhere to go for help. Our Recovery Day Service exists to offer connection and hope to anyone looking to step out of isolation and start looking at themselves in a new way. No appointment is necessary, just drop-in during opening hours.

Opening times:

Time to take action... test

The purpose of recovery is to enable you to move on from your addiction in a positive way through the achievement of a healthy, happy and meaningful life. Areas of your life that were once neglected are brought back into focus - including physical health, positive self-identity, family relationships and employment. Primary Treatment at Silkworth Lodge provides a solid foundation for recovery, however, you may not be ready to look at treatment in this way just yet. Attending the Recovery Day Service gives you an opportunity to make a positive change in your life, towards sobriety.

Anyone accessing the Recovery Day Service can also attend:

  • Monthly Recovery Workshops facilitated by our Recovery Day Service Counsellor
  • Fortnightly Support Groups
  • One to One counselling
  • Specific Recovery events throughout the year

If you have any questions or would like to find out more about what is offered at The Clubhouse, call +44 (0) 1534 615032 or email

Looking back, going into rehabilitation was one of the most unnerving but best decisions I have ever made. I will be forever grateful to Silkworth as I now have my life back and most of all, the love of rny family, which is my most valued possession.
