We are happy to welcome Jayne to the Silkworth Charity Shop. Jayne, who successfully set up and ran The Durrell Charity Shop, will now be taking the helm at Silkworth!
1). What does Silkworth mean to you?
Hope. Having recently seen someone coming to the end of their Silkworth program, who was previously being bounced from service to service, looking so well and so positive for their future it was an inspiration
2). You run the charity shop, can you tell us a little more about that?
The Charity Shop is not only a vital funding source but also an opportunity to connect with people and to talk about the work that Silkworth does. Just the other day a lady came into the shop and asked how to get help from the program and we were able to provide that link.
3). What is the best/worst purchase you’ve ever made?

Flowers
5). What do you like doing in your spare time?
House renovations, I get such a sense of satisfaction when it’s complete
6). If you weren’t working at Silkworth, what would you be doing instead?
Working as an Estate Agent
