We are delighted to announce that Silkworth Charity Group is set to open a new Charity Shop in St Helier in April 2018.
This is a new initiative for the charity group that will see an additional income stream come into the charity that will ultimately enable us to carry on developing the work that goes on within the group.
We are now looking for members of the public to kindly donate any unwanted clothes or small furniture items in readiness for our opening.
Jason Wyse- CEO said ‘ We are really excited about this new initiative that will not only secure an additional income stream for the charity but will also provide voluntary opportunities for those wishing to help the charity. Our charity shop will be run with true charity shop mentality in that everything will be reasonably priced and accessible to everyone within our community. We want the space to be clean, warm and welcoming, an inviting place where people want to come and shop.
Further information will be provided over the coming weeks with regards to the location and the opening date but we are calling out for any donations in the build up to the opening and would ask that you contact 729060 or e-mail at email@example.com if you would like us to arrange collection or alternatively items can be delivered to Silkworth Lodge located in Vauxhall Street.
