NEON Salon & School are delighted to announce that they have chosen to support Silkworth Charity Group, a worthy local charity that are working with many within our local community that suffer with Alcohol and/or Drug Addiction.
We have recently launched a new campaign called ‘Treatment 4 Treatment ‘ which will see all profits from each hair treatment being donated to Silkworth Charity Group. For every client who has a luxury hair treatment at NEON Salon in 2018, all profits from that treatment will be donated to Silkworth as part of the campaign. NEON Clients will ultimately be supporting a local cause whilst also receiving a pampering themselves.
NEON also supported the charity by offering complimentary haircuts to clients who were in treatment over the festive period.
Salon Director, Sharon explains ‘”We are a local business and wanted to support a small local charity that are making such a big difference. Addiction is not something that people normally choose to support unless they have been directly effected by it. We thought we would try and do our bit to help promote the work of Silkworth whilst also raising much needed funds for them to continue developing their services around addiction within our community. I think we all know that addiction can effect anyone, it doesn’t matter what social standing someone is. We are really looking forward to working with the charity throughout 2018 .”
Jason Wyse, CEO – Silkworth Charity Group says “We were delighted to be approached by NEON Salon asking if they could support us as their charity of choice for 2018. It means a lot to us that members of the business community want to help us reach out to the community and help raise the awareness of addiction. I am really looking forward to this new partnership for 2018.
