Meet the team

Meet some of the members that make up our highly professional team.

The Chairman of the Trust is Frank Laine and the Vice Chairman is Connetable Dan Murphy. Other members of the Board of Trustees are Dr Nigel Minihane, Anton Skinner and Conrad Coutanche.

Jason Wyse – Chief Executive Officer

Jason brings with him a wealth of business experience having spent almost twenty years working in the finance industry. Jason's main responsibilities are to oversee the running of the organisation from an operational and financial point of view whilst working very closely with the Treatment Manager and the House Manager to ensure that our ongoing goal of being a centre of excellence is being achieved. Jason also gives particular attention to the promotion and awareness of the group within the local community and in jurisdictions outside of Jersey.

Alan Kiley – Treatment Manager

Alan originally from London is a fully qualified and experienced addictions counsellor with over ten years personal and professional experience in the field. He brings with him the much needed skills that are required to manage and develop the programme that we deliver here at Silkworth Lodge. Alan's main responsibilities are to manage all aspects of the therapeutic programme, from development to delivery ensuring that that charity groups Mission, Vision and values are being achieved at all times. Alan also has Line Management responsibility for the counselling team and sits as a member of the senior mgmt team which meets regularly to ensure the smooth running of the organisation.

Adrian Le Corre – House Manager

Adrian has been a member of the team since early 2008 and brings with him his own personal experience in alcoholism and therefore understands the impact the illness has on individuals. Adrian has Line Management responsibility for the team of Support Workers that we employ. He is also responsible for the organisation and operation of the properties that accommodate our secondary care clients and sits as a member of the senior management team.

Chris Hall – Counsellor

Chris was born in Liverpool but has been resident in Jersey for over ten years. He has experience in working and dealing with young people and families with a wide spectrum of social problems. Chris is a highly valued member of the team and brings with him great skills that enable him to carry out the role with passion and commitment.

Mandy Wilcock Moore – Finance & Operations Administrator

Mandy has worked for the charity Group since early 2009 and manages all aspects of administration that comes with running an organisation such as ours. She plays a key role in ensuring that the finances are managed effectively and also assists clients with guidance and support with their own financial situations in order that they are able to focus on their programme of recovery.

Manuel Pita – Chef

Manuel Pita has been the chef at Silkworth Lodge since the beginning of 2007. Manuel brings a wealth of experience, having worked in first-class restaurants throughout Jersey. He was the head chef at Broadway Restaurant for more than fifteen years. Manuel believes that good nutrition is a vital part of treatment and his food assists the clients in their recovery.

Also we are supported by the administration team, the support workers and ancillary staff who are the backbone of what we do on a daily basis.
