Silkworth Lodge:

We help rebuild lives & families devastated by substance misuse

Silkworth Lodge was opened in 2002 by The Families in Recovery Trust which is a Jersey registered charity and part of The Silkworth Charity Group. Silkworth Charity Group provides help to those who are suffering with alcohol or drug addiction and is the umbrella for our 3 main charities which are as follows:

Silkworth Lodge is the only residential rehabilitation treatment centre in the Channel Islands. It is a non-profit organisation, owned and administered by The Families in Recovery Trust, to support those with drug and alcohol dependency, together with their families.

Our abstinence-based rehabilitation programme is an eight to twelve week course, based on the “12 step programme of recovery”. This programme has a very high success rate of patients staying clean and sober after discharge.

With our 2 halfway houses, The Clubhouse and aftercare we provide a unique pathway to allow our clients the best possible route to long term recovery.

We bring to you details of our Family Programme; for families and significant others struggling to cope with a loved one’s addiction, and our Community Day Programme; which will provide a safe and supportive environment focusing on a client centred, collaborative approach to recovery.

“I cannot thank the staff at Silkworth highly enough, they have changed all our lives so much. I used to think that living with an alcoholic was a way of life and could not be treated but Silkworth proves that it is a disease that can be managed, and give families like ours a much brighter future.”
